CHAPTER XL. DISTURBING THE QUIET OF THE NIGHT 1. All loud noise by night is taboo. Whoever, after sunset, shall, by hallooing, singing in the streets, or in any other way, make any disturbing or disorderly noise, in any village, town, or part of this kingdom, without justifiable cause for so doing, shall be liable to summary arrest and imprisonment by any constable or police officer, and upon conviction be punished by a fine net exceeding ten dollars. |
